The paper “Proving the safety of highly-available distributed objects” was accepted at ESOP 2020. The paper was written by our partners from UPMC and the conference will take place in Dublin, Ireland, between 25 and 30 April.
The consortium of LightKone project prepared a white paper of the project. “LightKone Reference Architecture (LiRA)” is a new proposal for the Edge architecture and is available here.

Our researcher Igor Kopestenski, from UC Louvain, gave a talk at Code BEAM Lite Amsterdam about Achlys and LiRA. The talk entitled “IoT edge computing with bare-metal Erlang and was held in the city of Amsterdam on December 28, 2019. More information can be found here.

LightKone project has one new article that was accepted in the International Journal of Communication Systems. The paper entitled “e-LiteSense: Self-adaptive Energy-aware Data Sensing in WSN Environments” is authored by João Marco Silva, Paulo Carvalho, Kalil Bispo, and Solange Lima.
