The 6th Workshop on Principles and Practice of Consistency for Distributed Data (PaPoC’19) was supported by LightKone European project and took place on March 25th, 2019, in Dresden, Germany. This workshop was co-located with the 14th edition of EuroSys conference.
PaPoC’19 aims to investigate the principles and practice of available consistency models for large-scale, distributed shared data systems. This includes cloud-based systems, geo-replicated systems, and systems that combine cloud and edge components. This worshop had also a keynote talk entitled “Techniques for Safe and Highly Available Cloud Applications) by Carla Ferreira from NOVA University of Lisbon & NOVA LINCS.
