One of Peter van Roy and Seif Haridi book’s chapter, entitled “Programming paradigms for dummies: what every programmer should know”, was discussed in the “The Morning Paper” this week. The chapter gives an introduction to the main programming paradigms and presents a taxonomy of about 30 useful programming paradigms, showing how they relate.
